Manaslu Circuit Trek with panoramic view of Mount Manaslu and Himalayan peaks in Nepal

Unlike the busier Everest Base Camp Trek and the famous Annapurna Circuit Trek, the Manaslu Circuit Trek offers a quieter and more peaceful experience. The trail passes through the protected Manaslu Conservation Area, where you can enjoy green forests, waterfalls, rivers, glaciers, alpine meadows, and traditional villages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Manaslu Circuit Trek difficult?

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is considered a moderate to challenging trek. You will walk between 5 and 8 hours most days while gradually gaining altitude. The most demanding part is crossing Larkya La Pass at 5,106 meters. With proper preparation, a steady pace, and enough acclimatization, many first-time high-altitude trekkers successfully complete the trek.

Most people choose a 14 to 16-day Manaslu Circuit Trek itinerary. A 16-day trip gives you enough time to enjoy the trail, rest, and adjust to the higher altitude before crossing Larkya La Pass.

The best time is from March to May and September to November. These months usually have clear skies, great mountain views, and comfortable weather for trekking.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek cost depends on your group size, travel season, and the services included in your package. Most packages include permits, accommodation, meals during the trek, transportation, a guide, and porter service. Contact us for the latest Manaslu Circuit Trek price.

No. Solo trekking is not allowed in the Manaslu region. If you are traveling alone, we can help you join another traveler so you can get the required permits and complete the trek safely.

Yes. A licensed guide is required for the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The trail passes through a restricted area, so all trekkers must travel with a registered guide arranged by a trekking agency.

You need three permits for the trek:

  • Manaslu Restricted Area Permit (RAP)
  • Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP)
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP)

These permits are included in our trekking package.

You will stay in local teahouses along the trail. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Most have twin beds, warm blankets, and shared bathrooms. Staying in teahouses also lets you experience local mountain life.

Because the trek goes above 5,000 meters, some people may feel the effects of high altitude. Our itinerary includes rest days to help your body adjust. Walking slowly, drinking enough water, and following your guide’s advice will help reduce the risk.

Choosing the right trekking company is an important part of your adventure. At JPR Travel Agency, we focus on making your Manaslu Circuit Trek safe, comfortable, and enjoyable from the day you arrive in Nepal until your journey is complete. Our experienced team takes care of permits, transportation, accommodation, guides, and every detail, so you can enjoy the mountains with peace of mind. We also offer fair prices, friendly service, and support whenever you need it, making your trekking experience simple and worry-free.
